Blessed are the Nobodies
Have you ever heard the Beatitudes as a to-do list—a set of virtues to strive for? What if, instead, they’re an announcement—a declaration that God’s blessing is already breaking into the lives of the least, the lost, and the left behind? In this sermon, we take a fresh look at Jesus’ words in Matthew 5 and discover just how radically inclusive God’s love really is. Because in the kingdom of heaven, things are not as they seem—and that’s very good news.
